Today I participated in the Disaster Prevention Festa and gave a speech at the opening ceremony.
I think the event was fun, friendly, easy to understand, and informative, with all the community organizations and wards working together. Thank you so much to everyone who worked so hard in the heat of the day.
The Bousai Special Exhibition in the gymnasium reported on the damage caused by the Great Kanto Earthquake, which this year marks the 100th anniversary of the Great Kanto Earthquake. There was also mention of the damage caused by hoaxes and fake news. We believe it is our responsibility to convey the history of the massacre of Koreans during the Great Kanto Earthquake.
